Association
France - Grande Bretagne | Cannes - Grasse - Antibes
The
aim of "Association France - Grande Bretagne" is
to improve the mutual understanding between French and British
by developing social and linguistic contacts and creating
personal links between members of the two nationalities.
To
this end it organises:
- talks in French and English, generally followed by a dinner;
- outings of a cultural nature and other trips;
- meetings for tea, refreshments, lunches or dinners;
- conversation workshops in French and English.
Through
its special position within a large British community, the
Association offers the chance of having regular contact with
other members both French and British.
On
Saturday afternoons from October to the following June, between
2 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., in our rooms at 5, rue d'Oran in Cannes,
committee members will be available to:
-
give you further information;
- take bookings for talks, meals, teas and outings;
- help you take part in conversation workshops in French and
English, called "The Saturday Club".
Tea
and biscuits will be available at 5 o'clock.
